The National Confederation of
Irrigators Associations, Inc.
Is a non-profit, non-stock, and SEC-registered organization established in 1997. It serves as the national umbrella organization of Irrigators’ Associations (IAs) across the Philippines, representing millions of Filipino farmers who depend on irrigation for their livelihoods.
Committed to advancing agricultural development, the NCIA works closely with the National Irrigation Administration and other stakeholders to promote efficient irrigation management, sustainable farming practices, and increased agricultural productivity—particularly in rice production.
As the unified voice of irrigators nationwide, the NCIA advocates for policies and programs that uplift farmers’ welfare, strengthen irrigation systems, and contribute to national food security. Through collaboration, capacity-building, and community engagement, the organization continues to empower irrigators’ associations and foster inclusive growth in the agricultural sector.
By 2035, NCIA is the nation’s premier organization in sustainable irrigation services—empowering farmers with enhanced livelihoods, championing environmental stewardship, and playing a pivotal role in securing the nation’s food supply.
